What is TEDxMICA?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDxMICA, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxMICA event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
What are we trying to do?
TEDxMICA shares the same passion as TED. Spreading Ideas. Our mission is to inspire minds and spark discussions and introspections among the people at large. We seek to invest in ideas and unravel a whole new world of possibilities.
While organizing TEDxMICA our primary objective is to find the smartest of minds across the globe and get them under one roof for a daylong event, because we believe that when you get the smartest of minds together in an environment where they can connect, good things happen.
